Nobu to open in Doha, Qatar...
Nobu, named after executive chef and owner Japanese-born Nobu Matsuhisa, already with 21 restaurants in 20 cities around the world plans to open a new sushi dining in Doha, Qatar's capital city.
In its early stage, Nobu Doba is most likely to be found at the Four Seasons Doha in West Bay on the Arabian Gulf.
Other brands set to hit the Doha scene include La Maison du Caviar to open at the W Hotel, and the JW's Steakhouse at the Doha Marriott.
The Doha branch of the Hard Rock Café is expected to open in 2009
Qatar has the highest per capita income in the world.
Nobu is known for his fusion cuisine, blending traditional Japanese dishes with South American (Peruvian and Argentine) ingredients.
Earlier this month, Nobu opened its doors at the much vaunted Atlantis resort on the Palm Jumeirah in Dubai.
