Le Provençal Hotel on the Côte d'Azur built by an American millionaire Frank J Gould in 1925 is being turned into a luxury apartment building.

The 256-bedroom Art Deco palace was in the 30s and 40s the symbol of the French Riviera where Coco Chanel, Winston Churchill, Marilyn Monroe, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Ernest Hemingway and F. Scott Fitzgerald were vacationing.

The Hotel is located between lively Juan-les- Pins and super-pricey Cap d'Antibes.

The 45,000-sq.ft. beach-side property, develop by Cyril Dennis into 56 luxury 360-degree views apartments will have access to spas, beach teepees, helicopters, powerboats, tennis, golf and a ski chalet in Courchevel.
