Dubai Mega Ecological Project.



Dubai has unveiled an ambitious $60 Billion environmentally friendly real estate project: Mohammed bin Rashid Gardens.

The first of its kind, the new Dubai Properties project will preserve and protect the environment and help to green the country.

Designed by architect Eric Kuhne of London-based Civic Arts, the urban development will include educational, financial and commercial facilities, iconic civic buildings and more than 150 km of waterfront and wetlands. The project will be linked by a network of canals, pools and waterways.

The 880 million square foot project will consist of a house of wisdom, a humanitarian house, a house of nature and a house of trade.

The house of wisdom will include translation offices, a library, knowledge parks, international organizations' offices, international universities and colleges for science and history and Sheikh Mohammed's grand mosque.

The humanitarian house will include the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, UNICEF, museums and charitable foundations.

The nature house will include family parks, world parks, laboratories, natural sciences institutions and colleges, hotels, clubs, a zoo, flower gardens and herbal medicine clinics.

The house of trade will include centers for trademark agents, institutes of higher finance and banking, insurance companies, leading international companies and Islamic and international banks.
