"Crystal Palace" in Orlando... The icebar

Icebar Orlando: First Ice bar in United States.

On October 1, 2008, ICEBAR Orlando opened its doors on International Drive during a special grand opening party.

The actual part of ICEBAR Orlando made of 50 tons of pure ice is located behind a sealed door at the front of the building. Up to 50 guests at a time may experience the 1,200 sq.ft ice room in 45-minute time slots after putting on a thermal hooded cape and gloves.

Admission to enter the sub-arctic space is $ 35,00 per person and include a Grey Goose cocktail. No beer or wine in here .

Have a vodka drink in a 27 degrees Fahrenheit (-3 degrees Celsius) room\ where furniture, glasses, bar and even fireplace are made of ice.
Drinks are served by waitresses dressed in stylish all-white snow suits and Russian-style fur hats.

Ice bars are popular in Northern Europe, where entire buildings are sometimes carved from ice.
While the Chill Lounge features furniture that cycles through a spectrum of colors, the entire ICEBAR glows, changing colors every few seconds. The colors range anywhere from an eye-pleasing blue/white hue to an overwhelming bright red.

Every six months the interior of Orlando's ICEBAR will be transformed into a new theme

"It's great that Orlando now has a winter."
