Luxury passenger train service from Beijing to the southwestern Tibet Autonomous Region's capital Lhasa will be launched on Sept. 1.
The interior of the train will be decorated according to the standards of a five-star hotel, and will only seat 96 passengers.
Each train will have 12 passenger cars.
Each car will have four small suites (108 square feet) with double bed, living room and bathroom area.
Running on the 710 miles railway to the Himalayas, the 5 days journey will cost around $ 6,000 and will leave every eight days.
It has attracted an investment of US $ 52.9 million
